THIS FALL, WE TAKE TO THE U.S. ROADS:

NEW SPANISH FILMS COMING YOUR WAY!

From September to November 2009, our annual FESTIVAL OF NEW SPANISH CINEMA (FNSC) will tour the U.S., going coast-to-coast and making stops at art-house cinemas, museums, and universities while presenting a special around-the-clock screening online. The FNSC tour presents the finest offbeat, independent and artistically-inspired Spanish films from all genres: experimental, documentary, animation and narrative.

And the festival is about more than the screenings alone. Participate in panel discussions and Q&A sessions with leading Spanish filmmakers and actors.  There are also short films available online, cutting-edge media exhibits, and of course, and no shortage of parties to celebrate Spanish cinema.

Last but not least, as a new offering this year and to precede each feature, we present Teaserland: an entertaining initiative featuring fake movie trailers by well-known directors such as Isabel Coixet (Elegy, The Secret Life of Words), Jaume Balaguero (Rec), and J.A. Bayona (The Orphanage), alongside up-and-coming filmmakers.
