Rossana Díaz Costa is a writer, screenwriter, and director. She published her first book of short stories in Peru in 2006. Her life is divided between literature and cinema. While studying Literature at the Catholic University of Peru, she became interested in film and enrolled in the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University of Lima.
In 2006 she finished her screenwriting studies at the Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid (ECAM). During her three years of studies, she wrote several short films, medium-length films, TV series projects, and feature films, such as the adaptation of the novel A World for Julius, by Peruvian writer Alfredo Bryce Echenique, and the original screenplay for Viaje a Tombuctú.
