Gonzalo Vergara is a Chilean director with several award-winning projects, including Este año no hay cosecha (2000), Amateur: Unidos por la Cancha (2017), and Sucesos (2018). He is better known for his series Magical Map of Chile. He founded Estudio Prende, the production company behind the series, ten years ago. He recently directed and premiered the official documentary of the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.
