Miguel Ángel Tobías is a Spanish producer, director, writer, actor, and TV presenter. He created the hit show Spaniards Around the World and has spent 20 years traveling with his production company, Acca Media, sharing inspiring life stories.
Tobías dedicates enormous resources to the production of social documentaries that promote the universal values of justice, solidarity, and peace. His notable works include the documentaries Dreams of Haiti (2011), Gurba, the Sentence (2014) – awarded at FiSahara – and Rising Nepal (2016). He has also directed films such as My Name is Gennet (2019), a multi-award winner at international festivals, and The Secret of Ibosim (2020). Additionally, he created documentary series like The Line (2013) and The Inner Path (2021).
