PRAGDA and CORTOCIRCUITO the Latino short film festival organized by King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center of New York University (KJCC, NYU) and film programmer Diana Vargas, presents Teaserland: an entertaining initiative featuring fake movie trailers by well-known Spanish directors such as Isabel Coixet (Elegy, The Secret Life of Words), Jaume Balaguero (Rec.), and J.A. Bayona (The Orphanage), alongside up-and-coming filmmakers.

About CortoCircuito: In its 6th year, CortoCircuito showcase the most acclaimed and provocative Latin American, Spanish, and US- based Latino efforts in the past decade. Short films have long been fundamental in exploring the imaginary realm in each of the cultures that constitute the Latino world. The 2009 CortoCircuito program entertains and educates attendees with fascinating topics, while celebrating efforts by new talent and honoring those that have perfected the short form.
