Sergi and Alex, a young couple in Barcelona, are ready to take their passionate affair to the next level when 10,000 kilometers suddenly come between them. Alex is offered a year-long, all-expenses-paid artist’s residency in Los Angeles. Sergi, hesitant at first, encourages Alex to follow her dream, leaving them with only one way to bridge the divide: digital.

About the Director
Born in Barcelona, Spain, Carlos Marques-Marcet started developing his unique voice at an early age. His early work earned him the INJUVE Young Creators Award, participation in film workshops with directors such as Abbas Kiarostami, as well as the Cahiers de Cinema’s 2008 Best Short Film award for his film Udols. Marques-Marcet moved to Los Angeles after being granted a scholarship to study film at UCLA. His short films I’ll Be Alone and Yellow Ribbon received several awards including a DGA recognition.
