Organized by the FILM SOCIETY OF LINCOLN CENTER in collaboration with PRAGDA, the series is presented by the FILMOTECA CANARIA as a sidebar program of the already successful IBéRTIGO, the Latinoamerican Film Festival that takes place in Las Palmas (October 3-11), and Tenerife (October 13-17). A selection of six titles that premiered in New York City includes films coming from Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia and Bolivia, which encompass today’s trends in Latinoamerican filmmaking.

IBéRTIGO is organized by the non-for-profit org CINE VéRTIGO. This 10 -ear-old entity is devoted to promote Film culture in the Canary Islands through their activities such as film forums, panels, workshops and various collaborations with other film entities.
