No Dialogue

With Haydee Cáceres, Bruno Balbuena, Sergio Velasco, Mirta Urbina, César Chirinos

Selected by the Ministry of Culture as the Peruvian entry for Best International Film at the 95th Academy Awards, Moon’s Hart is a mesmerizing, dialogue-free fantasy drama.

Haydeé Cáceres delivers a stunning performance as M, an elderly woman adrift in life, homeless, and overlooked by society. Her solitary days, filled with nostalgic memories and a haunting darkness, take a turn when she encounters a tiny creature—a mere ant—and chooses to share her world with it. As her story unfolds, a mysterious “mechanical angel” arrives, offering hope and transformation.

Blending existential themes with inventive cinematic storytelling, this award-winning film immerses viewers through its evocative use of imagery, sound, and music, earning accolades at the SCI-FI London Film Festival and the Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival, among others.

“Before being a fantasy film, El Corazón de la Luna is a heartfelt drama that focuses solely in its protagonist... her universe, both tragic and healing.” – Carlos Esquives, Cinencuentro
